Why We Built This Site
Utah permits broad access to records classified as public, yet Davis County has no single clerk for every court file. Second District Court clerks keep felony, class A misdemeanor, major civil, domestic, and probate dockets. County and city Justice Court clerks keep eligible misdemeanor, infraction, traffic, ordinance, and small-claims files. Xchange provides a statewide public index and case history, while the responsible clerk handles inspection, documents not online, and certified copies. The site's purpose is to bring those contacts, official portals, case-number tips, and request paths into one Davis County reference.

This is a privately operated reference site with no connection to Utah State Courts, the Second District Court, Davis County Justice Court, or any government agency. Its role has firm limits:

- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every listed phone number, fee, address, or setting remains current
